PORTFOLIO

In this vegetative design from the PES event, the theme was earth. I took the eucalyptus and greenery and covered the base of the container while giving the arrangement a fuller look. There are many different textures to highlight the natural overgrown look from the earth.

This design highlights both positive and negative space. The basing of the arrangement is full while the sticks create a more open feel. The Alstroemeria draws your eye up the design and brings height to the design.

This is a parallel design that incorporates different height through the use of the materials. The Roses are the main attraction and I wanted that to be the focal point of the design. The Snapdragons and Carnations are similar in color so the Roses can stand out.

This is the full piece from the PES Event. I love how the design extends above the metal frames to accentuate the space theme.

This parallel design has many different line elements. The Liatris and Snapdragons give definite ends to the arrangement. Something unique about this arrangement are the sunflowers. The petals were removed and the center of the flower was used as a basing material.

This is a Pave design with sugar cane pieces. The first step was to create the structure and stabilize it to the base. Once the sugar can was secure the flowers were placed into the foam to secure the sugar cane from lifting up. The Roses and Carnations were placed diagonally to give different motion from the sugar cane pieces.

This horizontal design is perfect for a centerpiece on a table. Because the arrangement is all one color, texture is important to showcase. This was the first time I used Galax leaves to create a rose look. That was created with folded wire while spinning the leaves in a circular motion.
